Homemade Nuggets For Kids

    Homemade Paneer Nuggets are a delicious food made from cheese۔ Homemade Paneer Nuggets as the name suggests are nuggets made of cheese, it is a type of Pakistani cheese food. These nuggets are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which can usually be made in place of chicken nuggets for a low-cost, low-effort meal that tastes great. Wrapped in bread or light batter. Fried, cheese nuggets can be dipped in your favorite chutneys and enjoyed. It’s a great and tasty snack for parties, generally for hunger time and for kids’ school lunches. It is the favorite food of school going children.

Ingredients:

  •  Milk 1 liter 
  •  Yogurt 1 cup 
  •  Salt 1 teaspoon 
  •  Lemon juice 4 tablespoons 
  •  Black pepper 1 teaspoon 
  •  Green chillies 3 to 4 pieces 
  •  Green coriander optional 
  •  Eggs 2 
  •  Bread crumbs  
  •  Cooking oil

Steps:

  • Add lemon juice to the yogurt and keep it in a warm place, then keep the milk boiling and when it boils, add the yogurt. 
  •  Boil it on high heat for three to four minutes or until the water separates. Remove it from the stove. Put two to three cups of ice cold water in it, keep it in the fridge and let it cool down completely. 
  •  Then place a cotton cloth on a fine sieve and pour the milk into it and after all the water is removed, lift the cloth from all sides and make potli. 
  •  After squeezing the water well with both hands, remove the cheese from the cloth and keep it on a clean kitchen counter and add salt, black pepper, finely chopped green chillies and coriander and mix well. 
  •  Set it in a tray and keep it in the fridge for some time, then cut into the desired shape. 
  •  First dip in beaten eggs, then roll in double bread crumbs and finally dip in egg again. 
  •  Preheat the oven to 180C. Heat and brush with cooking oil on a baking tray lined with butter paper and place the prepared nuggets. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
